Frequently asked questions
What makes beeswax candles different?
Beeswax candles burn cleaner and longer than many traditional candles. They also produce a warm natural glow and are loved for their natural air-purifying qualities.
What are your candles made of?
Our candles are made with pure New Hampshire beeswax sourced from local beekeepers, along with carefully selected plant-based fragrances (if chosen) and cotton organic wicks.
Where do you source your beeswax?
We source our beeswax from local New Hampshire beekeepers, supporting local, ethical, small-scale beekeeping whenever possible. Currently, we source wax from apiaries in:
Concord, NH
Hooksett, NH
Hampton, NH
Derry, NH
Canterbury, NH
Do you make candles by hand?
Yes. Each Beeswix candle is hand-poured by us in New Hampshire.
How long should I burn my candle at a time?
For best results, burn your candle long enough for the top layer to melt evenly, usually 2-4 hours depending on size.
How should I care for my Beeswix candle?
Trim the wick before each burn, allow the wax pool to reach the edges on the first burn, and never leave a candle burning unattended.
